A night at Palazzo Vecchio

One of my favourite pieces from my A/W collection is this black velvet pencil skirt. I wore it once before to a fashion week event, so when we got an invite to an event held at the Vecchio Palace, I got it don it again The wine, canapes, and mingling inside was ok, but it was a bit of magic outside in the square, with live music and a buzz of people admiring the ancient sculptures. Julian's best friends family were a host of laughs and enjoyment Read More  ☟

simple

Its as simple as something that nobody knows... This afternoon was spent with Jack Johnson tunes - the warm spring sun beating through the window, inspiring, relaxing, contented I found a Stradivarius store at the local mall - Stradivarius is a Spanish brand owned by Zara. I went overboard last year in their store in Madrid. I found this awesome jeans that I have been literally living in ever since - check my instagram! @Rada Priya My Tee is my absolute favourite that I bought at one of the many Jack Johnson concerts - 4 years ago on our birthday... good times...

the sweet life

Fig Gelato, Honeydew Gelati - my 8th time in Italy and the first time I've tried these flavours. I can't believe 4 weeks have already passed by. I haven't learnt any new Italian words, but I am getting closer to understanding La Dolce Vita - The sweet life Read More  ☟

miss-match

I found these amongst the huge bunch of unpublished files scattered around my laptop. This was such a great night at my best friends house - hot meal, good wine, delicious desserts and great company Saci had just got her new toy - the old film Holga camera from ebay, so before dinner we were playing out front. I love the aztec knit piled over the top of her mismatched outfit, which coincidentally went well with our mismatched meal: Spicy vegetarian dumpling soup, followed by chilled chocolate dipped strawberries and almonds, and finished with hot self saucing caramel puddings, homemade ice cream and good old peppermint & english tea... and now I miss home....

The Flowers Bloomed for You

We made a special trip to Michelangelo's Square today for you... I've been a bit slack taking the camera out, mostly because our trips are so random. Most mornings I squeeze my eyes open for a latte at the bar downstairs, and sometimes we dont come home until after dark. I've barely gotten to the part of remembering not to wear my PJ's for morning coffee, let alone take the camera and all the other survival items one needs when venturing out The sun was out and it was a light 18 degrees, perfect for riding the scooter around the city outskirts, catching random images from the back of the bike, stopping only for Cappuccino's and Cream filled croissants  It really is such a magnificent city - its easy to overlook the beauty when your in the trenches with the rest of the locals. I hope the photo's are not too generic... its hard not to be when the view is that good! My Charlotte Faux Fur Jacke t stole the spotlight for a minute... I...

Tapestry of Autumn magic

I'm so excited that my Autumn/Winter collection is up online - Thank you to my talented twin Saci for designing, photographing and styling the entire site http://www.radapriya.com.au/Autumn.html

Toscano

Wearing the Faux Fur Maron from my current Autumn/Winter collection. I love the leatherette patches on the sleeves and the blue jersey lining - I wasn't sure if it would be suitable for Italy, but these last rainy days has proved it to be the perfect outerwear item. Its super lightweight and very warm, and even though its last seasons colour here, it stills draws of attention. I make these babies by hand, so if you want to place an order jump over to my site - www.RadaPriya.com.au Wearing Ziggy jeans (Great Aussie brand) Jack Johnson tee (my absolute favourite that I picked up from one of his many gigs) H&M knit - which is proving to be crazy cheap here - it almost seems unfair to be paying more for similar basics in Zara. The Red windmill of Paris

I was looking for the lightbulb I just bought from Ikea, and I couldnt find it anywhere... until I saw these photos with it clearly hiding under my bed next to my uggs!? #oneofthosedays These pics were taking during Melbourne Fashion Week and I couldnt decide between my A/W'12 red velvet or the S/S'11 blue chiffon maxi - that I did end up wearing here The small Moulin Rouge painting is something I lovingly inherited from my Grandmother after she passed

high heels off and feeling alive

I simply had to re post these gems that popped up last week on FASHIONOXYGEN . I love the photography, the beautiful girls and of course the styling - both which feature pieces from my Spring/Summer collection. The Aubrey Shift dress looks so grunge paired back with a leather jacket and dark shades, while the Dylana Blouse in Mint and White is styled casual chic with jeans and statements jewellery Thank you Alice&Gabriella for the feature  Blog authors - twins Alice&Gabriella Click below to find the online store

old man on a bike

April showers bring May flowers?  The rainy days have arrived in Florence and I'm hearing these little sayings that make me feel so foreign. April means rain for sure in Australia, but flowers in May? no, April showers bring May evacuations, humidity and maybe new gumboots... The air was more crisp and fresh today after the rain - this was the weather I remember from last year and packed adequately for this year Wearing a Zara knit / ASOS snood / NEUW jeans / H&M sunglasses... the cigarette I'm holding for Julian while he snapped this shot in front of the Merry-go-round in Piazza Della Repubblica   Areta is a good friend that was with me, and contributed, to my very first street style blog more than a year and half ago. We could never have guessed that a year and half later, she would be a new mother and I would be producing seasonal collections for my label Have been instagramming like its a business: Instagram: @RadaPriya
